My theory is that we at this country shop a lot, even when we have a crisis, they tell to shop. Bush told us to go shopping after 9/11 to keep the economy going. He did not comprehend the meaning of inflation, and that is why other countries who have major FDI here in the states are forced to inflate their currency to stay at value with ours.

Actually, it's 10,000%... when currencies get destroyed, their stock markets go "to the moon".

  7. If the FED cuts rates again this month the markets will sell off. Whether it's 25bps or 50bps.

  8. Why would there be a sell off? Everyone will be borrowing like mad to buy stocks with international operations.

  9. The financials still haven't said the credit crunch is over. It's still early in the game. The end of this month should be fun. Volatility should pick up.

Buy the USD and sell equities. Then try and see if we can close the year out positive.

  10. This Fed is becoming more and more like a nightmare.

They really look like a bunch of incompetent c*suckers now with the NFP revisions.

Perhaps the world should do away with the Fed. They are a poison to the world.
