I'm looking to get back into trading again, I daytraded the s&p emini a few years back. What futures markets have decent volume after hours? I've read about the forex but I don't feel comfortable about it so I'll probably stick with futures.
bigarrow, take another look at www.oanda.com Forex can be efficient. (Oanda is what Interactive Brokers is to traders....to Spot Forex Traders). If it were not for Oanda, I would trade Futures again...
I'm still looking at forex. I'm just comfortable with the emini. What after hours times are the forex markets active?
I'm just getting into FOREX. I'm interested in swing trading. Do you think I should just follow the major pairs or is it good to follow all of them? All opinions welcome.
opinion: Follow the more actively traded majors with the narrower spreads... learn about volatility and correlations here: http://www.mataf.net/en/analysis-volatility.htm http://www.mataf.net/en/analysis-correlation.htm
The currency futures have plenty of volume, also the Hang Seng futures in the evening and the various european index products in the wee morning hours are active.
