Good example of why unions are stupid as all hell

You charge more commission than almost any trading company in the business, you dont have employees, (except maybe a couple of administrators) you have people who risk their own money, and you take a commission off of them for doing nothing, but providing access, to put this in poker terms, you are the RAKE.

Given those facts it doesnt surprise me you lean so hard to the left.

  2. Wow, still more fantasizing. I thought we got past all that. I have several businesses, but still make money trading, and yes, pay too much in commissions, as we all do. I do not make, and have never made, any money from anyone's commissions.

I thought we did some kind of internet check that proved all this a few months back?

  3. Too funny :D :D
Even our token AA minority healthcare worker rcg probably makes 40,000/year .

I understand his enema skills are par excellence and his m-16 ammo knowledge rivals "Jane's".

  4. I'm sorry, that was inappropriate of me. I'm sure you do just fine. But was seriously wondering if it was you or Lepup that was going into full time trading. Nothing negative, wishing all the best.

  5. Things are reeeaal slow now.
I'm bearish right now but I can't short in an IRA which is where 90% of funds are located.
So I'm just waiting for the fat pitch.

  6. Not suggesting, but can you buy puts in your IRA? Only if that's your plan. I have been using short puts to justify my major portfolio. If I can get put stock at much lower prices, dividend stocks, I really don't mind. Can't get any kind of return on straight cash these days.

    Are you Self directed?

  7. Tsing,

As I stated, I have no idea which politicians my friend voted for, or if he even voted.

I can tell you, though, that I voted for a Dem president for reasons that well beyond any support or opposition to unions. I also voted for a Republican governor for reasons that were also beyond the realm of unions.

I personally do not favor unions.

Even if there was any kind of absolute truth to the blanket statement you made about Republicans opposing unions, and Democrats supporting them, you would surely have to admit that neither Reagan, Bush 1, or Bush 2 did anything remotely like getting them abolished.

If one of them did happen to say something like, "I'll work to get rid of unions", I sure as hell missed it. If I'm wrong, please educate me. But if I am wrong, then you would also have to admit that they sure as hell didn't work very hard to make it happen.

And when you make the assumption that my friend who has just gotten his pink slip is either stupid, or hypocritical- if THAT is your way of trying to be civil- then I'll just say to keep on trying.

  8. Don't kid yourself. We all remember when you "outted" yourself less than a month ago.

Dude, google what happened with Reagan and the Air Traffic Controllers, then feel free to withdraw your statement.

As for your reasons or your friends reasons for voting whatever way, all I am saying that if your friend voted Democrat, either nationally or in the state (or both) which supports unions, and then gets screwed by a union, it's rather ironic.

  10. I'm glad I have you so fascinated with me, not sure why. I am more than willing to make a bet with you about who I am, figure out an easy way to prove I'm not the british guy nor bright. How much?

And, I really did think we ended this a while back. Something about web addresses or something, not sure.

Not that it really matters, just glad to keep you mind occupied.
