I would think that ascorbyl palmitate would be preferable to a liposomal, water soluble form.

Perhaps though what I'm thinking is fatty however in a water solution.

(for others) The whole notion behind liposomal C was to encapsulate in a lipid/fat from lecithin so the digestive system would go, ok, send this fat to the liver and then the ascorbic acid (C) bubble would pop there. In most other mammals C is made in liver but not with humans or other great apes who largely use uric acid (urate) for the same anti-oxidant purpose.

A lot of this C stuff got a bit disreputable because though Linus Pauling who started pushing the notion of vitamin C as a cure all was a genius, it was not as effective as many wanted to believe. Most of the water megadose vitamin C people take just makes "expensive urine" as it is not absorbed.

I've seen lab results done by Marie Curie researchers where the serum levels of ascorbic acid were sky high using this approach if the lipid spheres were made small enough. This was research to help with chemo symptoms rather than treat cancer directly. A lot of chemo is abandoned as if it is poorly tolerated so anything that helps etc. The trick was hitting around 26kHz with the ultrasonic inducer though there are other methods which work.

I happen to have a couple of spare 25W Dayton Audio sound exciters I got for another project and did not use them and can whip up an ultrasonic amp easily.

But I'll look at the ascorbyl palmitate first :)

Check out what's available on the Vitacost site, and they have their own brand. It is a very reputable site, once a public company (VITC) but now owned by Kroger.

I take mine with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.

  4. You might find this interesting, @Bugenhagen. Or you might not.

Have not watched the actual clip, but read a few interviews and articles from the guy. It's interesting.
