I'm only familiar with Forex, and feel very lost right now in terms of stocks and futures. I want to switch from trading Forex.. But I have no idea where to start. But it seems as if Futures is a whole new world and I'd like to learn some of the basics. I'm not looking at information on how to trade, just information in general. Like good brokers to use, what would be a good amount of money to start with (I'd like to be able to screw around with only $1000, probably lose it, but learn from that), what the S&P really is (Stock? Future? Option?) and such.. I have no idea about anything, and am basically just looking at a place to learn the basics like the lingo, what is what, how margin works with things other than forex and such.. Thanks.
