  6. Average is deceiving. Mean is a better measurement. If you read Forbes, 2 issues back, they feature there is an IB at Goldmans made 1B last years. If there are just a few other IB just like than, you will see after taking that very few IB, you will have an average of 50k or so.

  10. Can you people please stop with this shit I've read a lot of bullshit on ET but this is just retarded. I worked for Goldman in NY, 30 Hudson in GSAT (Algorithmic Trading) and no one is working these fabricated hours except I-bankers and a few front office dev teams on crunch time but this isnt normal I guess your talking about the cleaning crews and janitors??
