  1. rjb or fifo,

    First of all Thanks rjb!

I am so embarrassed..could you package it and send me the import, in the form of a link as fifo did earlier for me...I do not know how to copy and paste this into the configurator..You will prolly' need to do this anyways as I am sure that you are going to get some PM's with email addresses (ET does not allow attachments of this type of extension) as the days, months and years go by as guests read this archive.

    I am really a putz...

  2. Does anybody have any questions about the method thus far?

I suspect that the progress will move forward at a faster pace than it has and do not get lost...

..ask questions as they come up...there are not any stupid questions...remember that....look...I can really ask a lot of questions too, so do not be embarrassed!

Advanced traders, there is material here for you too...I am doing my best to post in "plain speak" and at the same time hold your interest. BUT...as Tradeviper said he was...I am also out of my league when it comes to coders...and programmers...they are in another world! The problem that I have is I need to tighten every nut and bolt and get bogged down as I get off on coding & programming tangents and get lost for months at a time.

The quest for a stop or hedge continues...

  3. After I get the code, I envision that the arch will become a wavey line...the price at the highs/lows of that line will be an interest point to observe...also the range of the price within the wave line will be fascinating...

    step by step... getting there...

There will be several way to trade this and you must find you way ...you must find and seek YOUR "Holy Grail".

    Hi ES

I did ask a question - perhaps there are stupid questions after all :), or maybe it was just overlooked:
if we are dealing with exhaustion, then wouldn't a sensible confirmation indicator be a longer-period macd? ie. macd/price divergence.

    Regards

  5. dude of Forex :)

The exhaustion part was the unique settings in the Demarker...I use it for entry and average in's...and sometimes early exits. Exhaustion within regression can be quite powerful when mastered.

Naturally, the arches can augment other methods of trading. I find that many confirmations could be put in place or replaced, but we have what we need....too many ducks in a row cannot hurt, but really not needed...

I overlooked your question somehow...I must be more careful.

    Michael B.

P.S. I am curious as to why there has not been anyone that has brought in a momentum indicator such as the CCI.

  6. The method has been presented with a non-standard approach with custom stuff over several platforms. The combinations can be endless.

There can be many TRADITIONAL applications used.

I have two more monitors now and just got the Nvidia Quadro NVS280 dual monitor card that I won on Ebay for 58 bucks (new and sealed in package..sells for 150 bucks)......so stay tuned as I am receptive to entertain your thoughts...:)

I think the theme here is how can the arches help you determine direction?...The presentation is unique work and why this thread is so important. I simply picked some esoteric stuff and stepped on seemingly, unpublished "virgin ground".

The readership in ET and contributions of your work is most important to me. If you can give presentations of your work in this thread...and naturally if you want to start Journals and other threads...I do not own this. There are no strings attached and discussion is all I want to present and encourage. There are far better traders than I and look forward to learning from them.

  7. hey...speaking of esoteric...does anybody besides proflogic work with the ergodic indicator?

it actually might work well with the arches to identify points of interest...

when you have something like the Daily CR indicating direction you have much of the battle beat...

  9. I got it in the list, I deleted the old one

On the 5 minute there is nothing as it is off the scale, but i can squeeze the scale and eventually find it...but when I change to other timeframes and make the line yellow (i use a black background) I see two horizontal dotted lines, but not a curve..

I extracted to this directory, as before...

    C:\Program Files\MetaTrader - North Finance\experts\indicators

I noticed the same thing but this is a scaling issue. the daily CR price value is off your chart in the 5m since it is far away. To see it you can right click on the chart and select properties and much around with the scale (fixed) and set the lower and higher values wider apart....
