  2. You know when a bank like Goldmans...B of A, Citibank, Lloyds...etc makes a move to start a cascade...they can really yield some power...

eur/aud did the bouncy....bouncy...without revealing anything...but it was interesting to see the shake out of some longs perhaps...prolly not .....was not that big of a move...i was on the 5 minute and it looked big...but readers, I am sure you can appreciate illiquids comments as to how this method should trade small...

THERE ARE BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF CURRENCY DOLLARS

This all starting to makes sense slowly. There is sound reasoning behind this method but before I jump to conclusions I have many questions to get my assumptions straight. And before that I need to get my params right because at the moment I see discrepancies between my charts and that of ES.

First off the EOD data that MT4 shows is almost identical to yours except for the last 3 bars, the most important. But the concept still remains the same. Secondly the CR indicator is off either in formula or in period. But my version shows the bend much earlier (not always a good thing).

So ES or any of you with Marketscope hooked up, would you mind counting the bars from the last CR point to its starting bar. The easy way to do this is to count the grid cells in your above posted pic, each grid is 8 bars (in the above posted pic only). You can use any chart with the CR indicator, count the # of bars in a grid cell, then count the #of cells that actually contain the CR indicator. in theory a 299 period CR will have CR data for 299 bars +- 1. This would be the last word on the param used in FXCM.

I know this is a tedious task while you are in your trade, so theres no rush.

It may be that everything is correct but the historical data may vary. As I understand it, no 2 sources would be identical as there is no centralized exchange. Of course, in that case, no 2 sources would be drastically off either (arb).

  7. by the way after observing one of the earlier screenshots a page or two back...someone asked what was wrong with the SGD and the HKD charts...Its a FXCM thing...they are having trouble with their new pair additions recently and integrating the marketscope charts to them...

SGD and HKD will be rather interesting :)

but if fifo gets this done...you would not need FXCM...again too bad we cannot look for virgins in 55 pair territory...

I do not know how I will repay you guys...I am running out of new material.

I hope this thread is everything you wanted it to be...I am already working on a new project to share after the live trading of this for a few months and I hope you continue reading ET...There is always good stuff to develop and it is my favorite thing to do...ET and I are a good match...now if I could just focus on one of these methods and bank some REAL BIG cash then my retirement plans will take care of themselves.

The quest continues.... Got Holy Grail?

  8. if this means anything...giving comes from within...and you generous readers might try to keep your hearts pure and pat yourself on the back when you give...that should be your reward...try to give and share what you can...This life we have, is limited and our days get shorter, as each second passes. Believe it or not, I believe your destiny is pre-determined and it is your time on earth, to realize it.

be everything you can be...fly with the eagles...

    God bless you.

  9. Yes. It's the combination of any average system and great Money Management skills. Proper Money Management is the only holy grail in trading. IMHO

    Good luck guys!

  10. I do not want to put a kibosh on this....but the EUR/AUD will prolly not come down fast enough for me to take half off and avoid the margin call at NFP...

nothing is ever clear...I am simply dreaming...

as you know there is no room for "hope" in the markets... they have physical undeniable properties...
