The annual Central Bank gold sales numbers close out in Sept don't they? I bet we have very little Central Bank selling from here on. I think they'll wish they had it back in the end. My big longs are a couple of those on your list. You've figured the same way I have.
Sept 26 is the last day.The number I read last week was 331 tonnes were sold by central banks so far this year.Article implies its highly unlikely they will meet 500 ton limit. But I ve been active in this sector on and off for 20 years, and I know that however unlikely it seems that they will meet 500 ton limit, because when it comes to gold, next to the actual dollar, gold is the most managed asset class.
