Keep me posted on how you progress. I love the idea of being able to predict with EW, but it's kicking my arse trying to figure it out. Btw, did you watch the Wall Street II movie on the big screen yet? I liked the imagery Stone used with the kids in the park and the bubbles they were making. Said alot...
It truly is a beautiful thing to have no fundamental noise. Like a hypothetical situation where you are alone in a cabin in the high mountains - no TV, no radio, no people, but somehow your chart gets updated automatically. So its just you and PRICE. No listening to CNBC, no reading reports on gold bullion, on which govt. is hoading or selling in the shadows, or whether the indians have gotten into their buying binges again - or whether the dollar is going to the crapper and paper money, all of it is going to get scrapped - and of course the FED. I don't care what the FED does. Goldie's Price has it all figured in = built-in - every conceivable thing about gold is discounted immediately and reflected in PRICE - except for acts of god and george bush and the latter is no more. No noise. Just me and PRICE. Really that's all I need and want. I can and could still get it wrong. But Price is like one's own Higher Consciousness. When One fcks up HE (the HC) only looks on in dismay, never disparaging one - so it is with PRICE - one's got to learn to read the signs, subtle and not so subtle. PRICE holds all there is to know about Goldie. Silence much appreciated. Thanks.
Sure thing. Haven't seen the movie yet, but will soon. I'll tell you something you could try - well, at least get a real headstart - take the Dow Jones chart 1800-2010 and open it up in Yearly view - then observe the waves and count them - then switch to Monthly and do the same - but keep the numbering from the Yearly visible and showing thru' on monthly. You will be amazed at how easy it is. The difficulty is when you get down to the lower frames - in realtime its downright dangerous and that's the reason most practitioners who charge money get a bad name.
Heavens to betsy........... gold gone wild. DB, I don't think we are going to get a pullback, the way this sucker is running. Maybe at 1385, but who knows.
Yeah Larson, your sentiment says it right, goldie is wild. And this is about the time when anybody calling a short stance gets shot in public. Remember that this recent rise is long in the tooth already - and sentiment is upper 90%. So I continue with my short stance alert.
Still trying to catch the inevitable SHORT of the DECADE ... A 4H close below $1,310 is an aggressive TP/reverse level. Trendline will breaK around 1306. This combo is now the area to watch for the SHORT. NOOOO way interested in LONG.
We'll get a pullback. But the monetary backdrop makes me inclined to believe the dips will be bought. I guess that is what makes a market. I am staying out of the stock futures though, more potential danger there even with QE, imo.
