hi edward ... for short term traders - arb - scalper - spreaders it is still a good market to speculate in but yes ... long term buyers or sellers have been feeling gain and or pain depending on the direction in recent months of the yellow metal and the leverage they have used
Nope... it's an unleveraged, long term investment, not a leveraged-up short term trade. I originally got long in late '00-early '01 at $255-270. I sold 30% into the spike in mid-April at $630, and have been slowly buying it back as gold sticks relatively close to the May highs.
