  7. That happened all last year. If all currencies are losing value and the dollar is only gaining slightly on them then the dollar can still be losing overall to gold despite gaining on other currencies.

  9. oil to 80, then a statement that the SPR will be used to depress prices, which fails....

    Bernanke borrows Green$pan's line that the Fed. will be the lender of last resort....

    Gold stays around the same due to action of the GSPT....

    as soon as the rockets stop flying, CNN forgets the whole thing happened and resumes bitching about global warming....

  10. G8 agenda derailed due to Israel-Lebanon conflict and concerns for greater instability. Wait and see attitude. Might get hairy. Interested to see how high asia spikes. I think it will be significant.
