Hi guys! I found an interesting article over the weekend you may want to read about gold tp://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-02-25/paulson-said-to-tell-clients-gold-fund-will-beat-others.html Let me know what you think.
1) Paulson has lost some of his "Midas" touch recently? 2) Paulson is "reverting to the mean"? 3) His intense bullishness towards gold could be used as a contrary signal. 4) It would still be "good" to be him.
======== RiskBisc; Interesting article; frankly i seldom take any money manager's word for anything I like to study GLD, gold , SLV, silver , SPY, real estate...candlechart trends. GLD, gold is a good uptrend by most any measures. Much better than silver, SLV or SPY........................, better uptrend by most measures............................................................................... Not a prediction ;simply probabilities
That's such a simpleminded attitude. They are both precious metals with a long history but do differ in a few important categories. Rarity being one, industrial & commercial use being the other. Also the recycling & reuse have some differences.
