Sell T and break up the proceeds into 3 stocks. We'll call them @Overnight 's "baby bells". Ebay--- $63 PWR--- $106 AQUA--- $38 Just be ready to stomach a little more downside if it comes. You're long term bullish. If right, these 3 will beat the S&P.
If it makes you feel any better, I'm on the next list for a Lightening. The Rivian's are pretty, but I'll go with F. Use 4 "baby bells" then. Throw F in there. 250K F-150's is nothing. They're gonna sell millions of em. There is zero doubt in my mind about that one. But spreading out your nest-egg is important... just in case.
LOL. I don't LIKE horror movies. That's why. Why watch something I don't enjoy? I like some of the Doctor Who episodes....but that's about as much horror as I tolerate.
NONE of those are contradictions. I'm too busy for this next week to write up explanations for all of these. But for anyone who spends a little time researching, those apparent contradictions become evidence that first of all, truth was being written, even when it appears contradictory. This is evidence of truthfulness, simply because if the Bible was written to deceive people, why make what appears to be such obvious errors? Just off the top of my head, your quote states: The contradictions start in the opening chapters of the Bible, where inconsistent creation stories are told. Genesis chapter 1 says the first man and woman were made at the same time, and after the animals. But Genesis chapter 2 gives a different order of creation: man, then the animals, and then woman. Reading the chapters together, I have done many time, does not lead one to confusion or a contradiction. Instead, the first chapter gives a chronological account of creation whereas the second chapter gives a different style of writing. It is like a summary with further details. It does NOT state that the animals were made after Adam and Eve. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU LISTEN TO!!! WHOEVER WROTE THIS WAS NOT HONEST. He said "Genesis chapter 2 gives a different order of creation: man, then the animals." Judge for yourselves. Does the below passage STATE that the animals were created after humans? No. It simply says, "Now the Lord God HAD formed..." So God, at a previous time, not stated, had made the animals and birds. The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” 19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. I'm not in the mood to tackle the rest, but none of these are contradictions. It does make me upset that people believe these are contradictions when with a little bit of thought, they aren't. I admit that reading them out of context, in the list, they do appear to be contradictions. I'll bet if everything you or anybody else reading this had a transcript of everything you've ever said, there would be many "contradictions" in what you said, yet you could very well be telling the truth. Same principle with taking things out of context. Stuff like this is better dealt with one contradiction at a time, otherwise it takes too long to deal with it. I would think a simple google search would provide logical explanations and background info so that they no longer appear to be contradictions. But studying the Bible carefully just by itself can also lead to apparent contradictions making sense, just as the first one mentioned did, with hardly any study at all.
Yes, it did. First, Jesus revealed some of His power and His glory to those three of His disciples by becoming transfigured before them, showing them some of His glory as the heavenly King. Next, Jesus' resurrection showed His power over death and the powers of darkness. Also, Jesus had earlier mentioned that "the kingdom of God is within you" which is true, in the sense that those who belong to God are a part of of that kingdom, but the Kingdom of God also extends to His future reigning over all the earth and then after the earth is gone, over all of heaven for eternity. So, I guess I see this as stages of God's Kingdom advancing. 9 And he said to them, “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.” The Transfiguration 2 After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. 3 His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. 4 And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus. 5 Peter said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” 6 (He did not know what to say, they were so frightened.) 7 Then a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: “This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!” 8 Suddenly, when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus. 9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus gave them orders not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead. 10 They kept the matter to themselves, discussing what “rising from the dead” meant. This commentary mentions that it was not likely the transfiguration, but Christ's resurrection and then later the power than Christians had in performing miracles that were the fulfillment of this. I tend to think the transfiguration was either the main fulfillment or part of the fulfillment. https://biblehub.com/commentaries/matthew/16-28.htmnor of the glorious transfiguration of Christ, the account of which immediately follows; when he was seen by Peter, James, and John, persons now present; for that, at most, was but an emblem and a pledge of his future glory: rather, of the appearance of his kingdom, in greater glory and power, upon his resurrection from the dead, and his ascension to heaven; when the Spirit was poured down in an extraordinary manner, and the Gospel was preached all over the world; was confirmed by signs and wonders, and made effectual to the conversion and salvation of many souls; which many then present lived to see
Same here, I wont watch horror or murder movies or even violence. There is way too much of it, can't see the point of promoting anti social behaviour. In actual fact my tv is permanently and willingly disconnected, has been for months. I prefer to read.
The subject of hell is difficult for me to like to discuss, probably because there is NOTHING pleasant or good about hell except that it is separating evil from good. For all eternity, there will continue evil confined in hell seoarated from the good that exists in the Person of God and experienced by all beings in heaven. I didn't search for this video, was actually going to listen to the Bible on youtube before listening to my church online and this popped up as a recommended video. Yesterday I read an article that discussed hell and it's been, well, troubling to me ever since. Not that I will experience hell, I'm assured of eternal life through my repentance and faith in Jesus. But, I'm troubled that anyone would be sent there. An eternity spent in hell is far worse than anything imaginable, and any horror movie. I like the partial answer that John MacArthur gives to the question, "Why did God create people He knew will go to hell?" I agree with his answer, but would say that there are many more reasons involved, including, as John MacArthur also suggests, the ones we don't know, that are God's reasons that He doesn't tell us. There are also more reasons that just these that the Bible expresses, but this presents a few important ones. "Why did God create people he knew will go to hell?"
