Signs and wonders were performed for a reason. Then stopped for a reason. IMO, the prophecies fulfill the role originally fulfilled by signs and wonders. IMO, it can't be obvious and provable to man that God exists. Doubt is a feature. That doubt can only be overcome via the real desire to know God; to know why we might exist in the first place, etc. IMO, there's even more to it as it relates to the "Sons of God" and how God was able to "know" humans before they were even born.
But the thing is, we're not searching, other than scaredee cats who look under the bed every night. You guys like most Americans, live in a world of fear, need a hundred guns per household, gotta have a perpetual enemy, stream off to church every Sunday and talk shit.

Yep. I believe that too. When you say it's not provable to man that God exists, are you talking in the sense of people in general or individually? Because I believe God can be known and with absolute certainty. I'm lost. What does this mean?
You mean the church? We have the carrot = Heaven. We have the stick = Hell. Make your choice, "Oooohhhh, I wanna be good and go to be with God, away from the pain of the devil".
Generally ... of course, I can't speak individually. God can always make himself 'proven' to whomever he will. For example: Jer. 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. This and other verses imply that the human soul existed before conception. I have a theory about these souls having great involvement in the war and fall of Satan and other angles.
No. I mean you. Anyone can read through our recent, short, discussion and see your attempts. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/god-is.359932/page-50
