Definitely! I currently hold about 100 stock positions. One moment to the next I have ZERO clue what they will do next. By holding a large number of positions which I deem 'superior' I'm working purely on probabilities. That more than 50% will make money. Right this second the ASX is down and I'm up $2193.69, market has opened one hour.
In and of itself, you can't effectively use a text that says a supernatural being exists, as proof that a supernatural being exists. You can't use Bible quotes to convince someone who doesn't respect The Bible as a source...for anything. But you can use any fulfilled prophesies from that text as credibility that the text is valid. As a result, you'll find few atheists willing to discuss fulfilled Bible prophecy--as we've recently seen. Hardened souls don't care about any evidence you/we post, but some other readers may understand the meaning and importance of prophecies from hundreds of years ago coming to pass. Arguing using the Bible as a reference against someone that doesn't respect The Bible as a reference; is simply arguing with a troll in an unproductive exchange. As we've also seen, and are seeing right now; the troll will try to steer the conversation into troll territory (away from fulfilled prophecy), or shut it down if they can't manipulate it.
This is pure luck. The reason, one stock BRN.AX Brainchip has run hard last couple of weeks and my original position is now quite large, today BRN is up 18% so it is having an impact.
Yet you say it's based off of probabilities. So then, you are professionally gambling in trading, making yourself a professional trader! Well, maybe I should just tell people at church I'm a professional gambler. If I do, I might get prayed for more, and that may just bump up my probabilities of successfully professionally gambling as a professional trader.
Here we go, back to this bs! As mentioned, noob traders, all they know and all they talk about is about 'predicting'. Dumb retail christians, led by dumb retail church, all they harp on about is predictions.
As mentioned, its just luck. But my trading model is largely I trade speculative, penny stocks. I only need 1 stock to go gangbusters and it can pay for all the losers.
True. If a group of people are stranded in a desert and people are trying to figure out where water is, if someone comes up to the group and says, "I've found water," you'd think people would be interested in finding out if the claim is true. I feel the same with the Bible. People say they are searching for God. Many of the writers of the Bible claim that God told them what to say. I know that God has intervened in my life to make Himself known to me through the Bible and Divine Interventions in my life. Yet, when we try to tell others, many don't even search it out to see if the Bible is reliable in it's message about God, and a large part of that reasoning has nothing to do with evidence. It has to do with not wanting to be accountable for their sin. What they fail to grasp is that by becoming reconciled to God, they are made "accepted in the Beloved." Google search the reference if interested in where that is found. How many reading these E. T threads have really taken the time to ponder the significance of prophecy fulfilled?
Yeah yeah yeah ... we heard you the first time. Everyone can read our previous discussion and judge for themselves what's really going on. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/god-is.359932/page-50 "Waaaaa .... I don't wanna talk about fulfilled Biblical prophecies. But I want to harp on all other Biblical topics though!"
