Humans have an innate ability to talk garbage. Whether it be religion, politics, or how MARVELOUS gold is and going to the moon, or how MARVELOUS crypto is and going to orbit the sun, or how super rich you can get trading, humans love to dream and spout crap. Christianity is exactly the same, going to heaven and paradise and all sorts of baloney. If someone said put all your money on one trade you are going to be a millionaire shortly, you would be a fool. Christians say "Place all your faith in Jesus, you're off to heaven, those who don't are off to hell". FAITH! The biggest con job on earth, perpetuated by men who wrote a book, by an institution, the church, who wish to control humanity and enslave them by filling their minds with garbage fairy tales. Humans just need to have something rosy to believe in.
"The biggest con job on earth" It really is remarkable the way so much in the Old Testament points to 1. God taking on human form 2. The need for a Perfect Substitute for sinners. It's either the biggest con job or the design of the Eternal Being.

I've chosen to believe that the Bible was written by men who were guided by God by both verbal dictation, when God commanded his prophets to deliver a specific message, or by guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Bible itself says that God directed the Scriptures. If I believe that the Bible is correct in it's claim that it was written under the guidance of God, why wouldn't I hold the Bible as the only reliable source of truth? Why would I bother to listen to others opinions or my own imaginations? People have come up with probably billions of opinions, considering that there are billions of people alive and not very many people hold the exact same opinions about everything. But IF God has directly revealed something, and I believe He has, then I would be foolish not to rely on that revelation as the truth and search for some man-made opinions. So I do shape my beliefs about God and living based on the Bible. But I certainly have my own opinions about things. I have a lot of opinions about different aspects of trading. One of my opinions is that I don't believe trading is gambling. Some people I know (believers AND unbelievers) think trading is gambling.
Yeah, its not gambling to you because the word "gambling" has too many connotations of being associated with losers so therefore "I must distance myself from this horrible dirty word".
