I am going by my experiences, and the experiences of others like me, and the Bible and evidence that the Bible is trustworthy. You do not accept that evidence, so you think that I and others like me are the same as you, not having a real relationship with God. Only the thing is, I and some others DO HAVE a real relationship with God.

IMO's: God created beings with the free will to do good and/or evil. If @stu disapproves, and deems God an evil monster for granting beings such free will, then that too is his God given right to exercise his own free will--in action. Me personally, his opinion is not something I'd cast my pearls before. I'm certain he'll eventually find all the answers he seeks, and deserves. I'll plant seeds and give a little water; but, once again, it is above our paygrade to try to soften corroded, dysfunctional, hearts.
