Gotta be kidding right? Ever had the experience debating with JehovahWitnesses? 100% waste of time, you'll go around in circles for eternity. Welp, discussing religous theory with anyone will be the same. I'm only here to troll you guys because I'm bored atm.
God is... A figment of imagination Wishful thinking Hope for the hopeless A straw for the sinking man A beaut story like santa, tooth fairy, humpty dumpty. A means to control the rabble. A story for the uneducated to pull them into line.
You're not very good at trolling. You walk right into gotcha questions; ungracefully exit by saying 'I don't want to talk anymore ' Then expend lots of words trying to make your unsubstantiated, bombastic, obviously exaggerated claims look like a professional troll job rather than the rantings of a wayward servant tilting at God. Meanwhile, I've exposed to everyone that you are in real pain; and that I'm here for you.
Favourite ploy of christians, attempt to convert the vulnerable; down and outers, hospital patients, uneducated, Refugees etc. The excuse Christians make "well to do people don't feel the need to know God". Truth of the matter, educated people aren't dumb enough to get suckered.
Lets assume the bible evolved as a document over 3000 years. Just think, if you had 3000 years to write a book, how one could spin all sorts of naratives into it, creating the most beautiful piece of fiction. Truly not hard to imagine one could write a best seller if one had 3000 years to mull over the story line. Like all fiction, there will be some truth to it.
Well it did, just that Christians have an aversion to the word evolve. You guys believe everything was created instantly, perfectly in 6 days and nothing evolves. The bible is a document which is a mishmash of transcripts found here there and everywhere and compiled together by scholars. Some manuscripts were conveniently added, others withdrawn over a long period of time by different people. King James had his influence in there somewhere.
Source. I can only speak for myself. I can only speak for myself. Short of doing specific research; I tend to agree with this.
