Well, to be fair, there are many nights where you will not have memory of dreams while not under anesthesia. So we do not need to have to go under with drugs to explore the possibility of non-existence through non-memory. We can do it on any night we cannot remember dreams upon waking. After all...If you cannot remember your dreams from the previous night, and cannot even remember falling asleep, were you ever alive at that point? The only reason we conclude that we were alive, is that we REMEMBER it after waking up. There's God in a bucket.

Your logic is flawed because it doesn't include the possibility of God. Your physical brain will not have memories of course, because it is dead. But the LIFE that existed, where did it go? Life itself is a mystery. It can't be created from nothing. If a body is dead for some reason yet has all the cells and biological properties needed to function it is not going to become alive after the life has truly departed from it. Why is that? What is LIFE? For the Christian it is the soul, and spirit and it lives apart from the body. The Bible talks of two types, one for eternal life and one for eternal destruction where God will reunite spirit with bodies, but the bodies will be changed according to their destination.
