God is Busy

  1. So a Creator sets in motion random selection, aka free will, and then man decides to try and prayer away the consequences of his choices. It isn't difficult to see why so many prayers go unanswered. Other prayers will be answered, no, not now, or get off your lazy ass and fix it yourself. The creator will only do for us what we cannot do for ourselves, and that isn't as much as we would like it to be.

There is no solid evidence that a creator exists, but if you have found such evidence then please send me the link to where you found it, or name the source.

There is much evidence about the origins of mankind, how society's developed, how the few introduced new ways to control the many to keep the power and wealth.

To ignore the facts, just because your Father and Mother knew no better (and I speak about my own parents as well, not directed at any individual) is to continue the foolish ways that have been handed down from generation to generation.

A recent program on TV, showed explicitly how Genocide came about by propaganda, the 2 most notable cases being the Nazi holocaust, and the more recent Srebrenica massacre.

History will always repeat, as you can not change centuries of conditioning in a short period of time, and it was not until the start on the 1900's that any main change started, all due to the developments in new technologies that allowed information to be more accessible to the masses.

If you stop and think about it, it is really common sense, but don't take my word for it, go look it up and discover it for yourself, as all the information you want is now at your fingertips, but as usual, most will not bother to use it for their own advantage, and will instead waste endless hours talking rubbish about things that do not really matter, on sites such as this.

The "few" are still in power and control, but like in the past, they no longer have the control of information, and thus resort to utilizing the new found technologies to make sure that the majority of people will still behave as their forefathers' did.

History always repeats itself, and the markets are no different!

  4. I think you have misunderstood what this thread was about. You are probably arguing with people who for the most part agree with you.

    But gettting back to trading

It has to do with what to do with excess energy when things are going good.

Let me share a true story, that happened to me recently, and which I think is very relative.

I was contacted by a person, who was trading, and was having difficulty understanding some things. During the conversations, the truth came out, with a close family member of this person having lost just over $250K back in the early 2000's. This tore the family apart, as it was all the money they had, and was retirement money.

The person who contacted me, foolishly thought he could make money trading, so mush that he even borrowed money to trade with.

I am happy to say, that he has seen his foolishness, and stopped losing money, as that is what he was doing.

I offered to help the person get a better understanding of exactly what he must do when trading, if he wants to make some money, and told him that he can contact me at any time in the future, if he finds himself in a position to risk some spare money he has built up.

It is times like this that brings the reality of trading home to you, and I consider myself one of the lucky ones, having not lost my money trading, but have had many winners and losers, so much so that I am under no illusions as to what I must do to hold on to any money I make from trading.

90% of it is all bullshit, same way that 90% of what is written by people is also bullshit, and one should make it their business to filter out the factual information, and then form an opinion, which in turn will affect how they think and operate.

I am not arguing with anyone, just making some points that I think are very relative.

If you get to the stage where you find yourself in a position where things are not going good, then it is already too late!

Successful trading, meaning making money and holding on to it, is 99% mental and 1% action.

If you do not truly believe this, then, as mentioned, you still have a long way to go in understanding why it is you think the way you do, which in turn results in your actions, and thus your results.

It really is common sense, and we all know that common sense, really is, not that common!

It is amazing what you can find at your fingertips, if you but use your head and enter the correct terms when searching!

I have come across what I consider to be a very important document, and one that should be read by any person serious about trading.

Gann did not use Geometry just because he thought it was a nice way to look at the market, but I would say that he had a far better understanding of why Geometry was so important to trading! BTW, I am not saying you need to use Gann techniques, but I am saying it is worth considering why he used Geometry with such success, which he did!

If you are interested, then you will find the document very easily, and it is one document that I will definitely be saving and printing off, as, it is very satisfying to come across a very clever person who validates your way of thinking by what he writes.

  9. thanks a lot dumbass, because of you this thread got moved to politics and religion, which is where you belong until you can handle a trigger word like G-d. It was about trading psychology but you religious nutcases can't handle any truth without proving something.
