    What do you think the carrying capacity of earth is with the current development of humanity?
    10 billion? 20 billion? 40 billion? 100billion?

    How soon 10 billion? etc?

    Somewhere over the rainbow, the lollypops gonna get scarce.
    Will the new model 2020 Skyler have time to work till 70 years of age, fill his 401-K, and enjoy the proceeds for a full and healthy retirement?

    Which does raise the frequently asked question, why are we trying to get people onto the Moon and the nearest Solar System planets?

    It might be worthwhile if we could use resources we find there and return them to Earth to help humanity. But that doesn't seem a capability in the foreseeable future.
