Don't mean to interrupt the fun in the sandbox but for the record it is a man who sings “La donna e mobile” in Verdi's Rogoletto. The Duke is a bit of a slut though, maybe that was what caused the confusion.

I know, but Hog would not have liked to hear about fat men singing. He's weight sensitive. :D

Good call on the Duke. :)

  7. I think the question is what to do now? No one will ever know exactly why this spike occurred although fat finger theory makes sense, is this a warm up? Kinda like the talking heads saying why the market went up or down. I know one thing, SP at 1400 is no longer a mysterious, far away proposition, high 1398. I think this is a breakout trade to the upside. I know I will have at least two stops on the downside. Kinda like a two bagger, one for me in case hers breaks. No economic news, lots of earnings tomorrow. Maybe another FOMC pause, etc. LOL. :D

But as I had told you before, my experience of thirty years as a trader is that such accidents are usually along the line of least resistance on which I base my position in the market."

Or maybe they remembered the earnings from IBM, GOOG and AAPL. It can be argued both ways.
