I can't think of many news events that would sustain a move like that. I tell ya, I never punched up ccn.com so fast in my life, not that any news site would responds as quick as the market. I don't think Japan is open yet either, fat finger is the only thing I can figure. My 76.5 bid awaits....
interesting though ... crude oil futures made new lows dropping 50 - 75 cents after the "rip" in the stock index futures
here's a guess: someone bought 2k contracts at 1375 level, then a 1380 buy stop was triggered, then that triggered a bunch of other buy stops. ???
Thanks, riding the Dow Mini up from 11300 to 12000 was nice. I cannot force myself to trade it now, their has been zero correction a straight line up with a 5 day of lateral movement then up up up. I am really digging the beans, tight spreads, low low margins plenty of liquidity, its a breathe of fresh air indeed.
i bet they cancel all those orders. obvviously a screw up. happened to me friday with the stock at ran from 10-80 in 3 minutes. they stole all my gain s and cancelled
interesting how a republican win could be good news when I just heard this past week that the democrats winning would = DOW 13,000. This getting to be a complete joke. Something isnt right....
Yeah, I hope those trades aren't busted. I covered 3 of my 10 at 79.50, maybe I better hold the rest so I don't end up short tomorrow morning. If they do bust, they better make a decision soon.
