Barrons say the republicans cannot lose on Nov 7th. IB showing the high as 1398 but there backfill only shows 1393.

Yeah, i'm sitting here at the computer doing some work and spoos just rocketed, what? 20+ points. Nothing on the news I can find, by the time I pull up tws to sell, it's dropping a point a second! Tried to sell 90's, down to 84 before I could sell. Shoulda went market. Sure was exiting though.

 

Yeah I froze -- saw the whole thing happen - I wanted to short around 1400 but didn't have the balls.

 

That happened right after the release about Bush touting economy.

I would not go near the US index futures for the next two weeks. I am going to trade the electronic soybeans.

last time somebody pulled this shit was 1Q 02 I think -- that CSCO earnings right after bell and pit close.

 

Soybeans eh? I'm gonna start checking that stuff out.
