Over the past 3 years, there were at least a dozen sharp peaks. That means UP- traders earn $$$ DOWN - traders also earn $$$ UP & DOWN & UP & DOWN & UP & DOWN & UP & DOWN & UP & DOWN & UP & DOWN & UP & DOWN & UP & DOWN ..... traders earn and earn and earn $$$$ while investors were happy and suddenly very sad and were happy and suddenly very sad and were happy and suddenly very sad and were happy and suddenly very sad and were happy and suddenly very sad and were happy and suddenly very sad ... So how? Learn to trade. And what's next? UP & DOWN & ....
So is it a spoof or is it real? You joked about Chewy buying GME. Or Vice versa. But if you think outside the box, there could be some great synergies there. GME is buried in leases on stores that do nothing but damage their bottom line. Chewy loses money to AMZN undercutting them on low margin pet products at every turn. What if GME migrated their somewhat successful digital sales division 100% to Chewy's tried and true web footprint, and in exchange, Chewy tries to undercut AMZN with a slight twist on the E-Commerce business by taking over those leases and making them customer fufilliment centers... totally eliminating the HIGH cost of the last mile delivery. Which is why AMZN minus AWS would lose money, albeit we love them for that. Would pet owners jump in their cars to save $15 on a $60 bag of dog-food? I think many would. And if they weren't so inclined.... well, Chewy will still do what it always has. A match made in heaven? Doubtful. But those $125 calls might run like banshee's if a short squeeze kicks in again on GME. And lets not forget... both are flush with cash. Why beats me. But they are.
I love how you always all the variables and potentials! The apes have come up with Ryan buying all the old BBBY vacant buildings and filling them up with CHWY, Radio Shack and ToysRUs goods. GME-CHWY dangerous because we both know how WMT-AMZN almost destroyed PetCo and PetsMart. The Bitcoin or GME-Ryan Hedge Fund is another interesting theory. The short interest was low according to S3. Sorry, it’s early, not trying to ramble. GME trades so thick or heavy.
I think that is what happens when a person wants to comment on everything without really reading and trying to understand what others on Elite have repeated? The $4 billion in cash and no debt has been the talk of Elite and the financial community for since early June.
I didn't hear about the hedge fund idea. I like that. Regarding the GME-Chewy thing, I wasn't being real serious lol. There is room for an ancillary add-on model like this however. Not a traditional retail operation like the former PETM, just strategically located fulfillment centers where customers can come in and pick up the stuff they ordered. Basically they do the last mile, instead of a semi coming into a distribution center and then separating all the packages and reloading them into 100's of delivery vans. Amazon's current model. But who cares. That's all low margin yesteryear type of thinking. We want to get rich quick. I like the hedge-fund idea way better! Get the Kitty on the blower--> Stat!
