Maybe somebody should coin a new term... "Cubic Zirconium Hands".... looks like and wants to be diamond, but isn't. As to silver (SLV)... was reading where the short interest is actually rather low, so no "Gamestop-like" squeeze. XRT (most shorted) getting hammered too... -25% in 3 days. Looks like that's a dangerous game, too. oooooh... just all kinds of ways for investors (especially noobs) to lose their money! Doesn't hurt as so much when it's "stimmy" money though.... wasn't "earned", just given by the government.
This is the main main reason why I migrated from investing to swing trading to day trading since 2 decades ago.
fellow apes if you have some share, we could be in this maximum pain point. if not, then deduct that shit of this years tax and move on to our respective boring investing
GME and AMC could go down a couple more days so, I am not jumping in. Lots of opportunities to get in at a low risk, high probability area of the stockchart. I am willing to give up a few bucks in profits, to find a good entry point. Too bad for the Reddit traders, they may not have enough monies left to get back in the game.
It will probably go down for the next few hours/days. I doubt it will go up and see the Sun / Light for the next few months/years. Sorry, Reddit traders. learn to day trade with charts!
this is different than the VW deal. I may not be 100% on this but my understanding is Porsche was more or less taking ownership of the company and forced all the lent shares to be returned...whos forcing the shorts to return shares en masse this time? And none of you talking shit know anything about what diamond hands means...it has just as much if not MORE to do with holding onto winners as it does holding onto losers. but that's okay.
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/02/02/rob...ustomers-can-buy-100-gamestop-shares-now.html So they are gaming the system......? Seeing a colluded effort by RH, TDA, IBKR on purchase restrictions really is starting to look suspect. Had GME gapped up again those WSB guys would've wiped out a good section of the market.
