Will Robinhood survive Lots of margin calls for retail traders Retail traders who are ilinformed about the mechanics of trading on margin
Latest reports were the Robinhood got lines of credit totalling $1 billion. Massive losses from their small traders which they have to eat. That is why they restricted buying to 1 share. Can you imagine if these rabid small traders were allowed yesterday to buy as much as they wanted of GME and AMC and all on margin? It would have added to the massacre today. A lot of them bought at the top too, some complaining when they failed to buy shares at the very top?
GME now <100... i put in some buy orders 22$ down to 5$, just in case we see a margin call liquidation frenzy...
great. I don't like the bubble ( see my earlier posting). it actually belongs to the 2 digit category. Now it is in the 2 digit category. It actually has great potential to be in the 1 digit category because it was there before.
so now the question is : who is the illegitimate market manipulator? is it the hedge fund managers, or the Reddit posters or ... ?
And all you need is the stockchart not some Reddit poster hyping GME and AMC. The irony of it is AMC and GME could be good trades after the small traders are all wiped clean. Stock prices would be cheaper to buy at low risk setups at very low prices. Then, those small traders will miss out because they have no more monies left to trade with. Just when they should be trading GME and AMC.
Yes we got absolutely crushed today lol. My body completely bypassed pain and went straight to laughter.
