  1. then those baggers should become the people who design, test, and maintain those computers.

trucks and trains make things more efficient and thus cost jobs, so are you arguing we should go back to horse carriages in the name of creating jobs?

  2. That's what I have been saying for awhile. Step up and show real leadership. Everyone takes a cut. What take such unique talent to offshore more jobs. Wow that deserves 10 million plus a year.

When I worked at a mid size public telecom company I respected our president. His base was about 300k and he made a bonus up to 1 million based on sales and revenue. He worked in the same office as us and he worked his way up from the sales dept. That's leadership not the Bullshit you see at so many American corporations. Take a small base and prove your worth.

  3. huh

    huh

Companies are utilizing cost cutting (layoffs) to remain profitable for the company owners. The fallout is of course high unemployment and less demand for the goods the company owners produce and they collectively go whining to washington for "economic stimulus". And like the bunch of idiots our politicians are they borrow the money, hand out the stimulus to the workers who pass the money right back to the owners.......this goes on for several years until once again the worker wages don't keep up with inflation (which was caused by the money printing from the previous owner whining) and we go back to cost cutting the workers so the owners can maintain their salaries.....demand for their goods falls and they go crying to washington for more free money which gets passed to them....

All the while the avg increase in pay for owners goes higher every year while the worker stays stagnant all based on government borrowing money to pass onto the owners and has nothing to do with actual free markets. Boy it sure would be nice if the government would stop messing around with trying to stop the natural recessions that weed out the crappy owners and businesses rather than handing out tax payer borrowed money to undeserving execs and band aiding the situation until we get a massive recession caused by not letting the natural flow of things occur.

  5. Look at the bright side. GM closes plant, reduces carbon footprint, sell tax credit to highest bidder.

  6. Part of Obama's plan. Get as many people as possible dependent upon the government for their living.
