GM Currently Hard to Borrow ?

It depends on your broker and who they clear through. But GM is generally hard to borrow street-wide.

It has been on the SHO list for some time.

 

i'm amazed why is it hard to borrow? i saw about 16% of it's 476 million or so share floar shorted. why would this be hard to borrow still tons out there

 

I tried to short it the other day almost a dozen times. It's still on their damn threshold list. Pity, I would have made over 2 points on that badboy.
