Globex trading with IB

My damn data keeps popping on and off while I'm in trades with IB in the pre post market. Is there any way to fix this?

 

You are likely connected to the US servers and they reboot around 12AM EST, I get quite a few disconnects for the next hour around this time.

You can ask to be switched over to the Asian servers to avoid this apparently.

 

I wonder if that would cause problems during regular market hours?


The biggest problems are around that time, but then on some days it 's just random.


Are there any brokers out there that have 24 hour access?

I'd look into your isp and connection reliability
