IB asks if I want this RTH only. Is there a danger in having a stop on ES outside of RTH? Same for Es options?
this is because, for most products, liquidity dries up outside of regular trading hours and one might not want their stop triggered accidentally in those cases. however, depending on your size, the ES usually trades as a continuous function so the stops would probably be triggered as they normally would. as opposed to some products where this u might see disjointed prices.
