Globex: How Often It Goes Down???

Hi Guys,

from your experience, how often does the GLOBEX system go down?

once a day? once a week? once a month?.....etc.... and usually, for how long?

I vaguely remember one time(during market hours) in the last year it was down for a brief time.

Now, concerning your brokers connection to the market, that is a different story, varying from broker to broker.

 

What broker are you trading with?

 

I hear some people saying that because IB was down, they lost the trade. But Def says that the problem is with the Globex system.

But now, from what you are telling me, the Globex system is quite robust.

So, what is wrong in all this?

Does Globex really go down often?

Does IB go down often?

Anybody else have opinions about the Globex reliability? Personal experiences?
