well i guess most of you have data for the pit contract - so you can get a feel for the heat your taking. luckily my broker does pit contracts too - guess im glad the pits are still around after all!!
Last time this happened, I had the same issue - order in then system went down. I called my broker - they called Globex and confirmed no order was in their system. You might call your broker to confirm if your order is on Globex and if they can cancel it.
this is why they need to add cancel fees, so they pay to fix these problems. its not like they dont make enough money the way it is
