  1. MAN....wHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?????

if your like everyone else here,,,,your A CAPITALIST PIG!!,.,,now some, like me will admit that,,,,others, hide behind a cloak...you see, traders do not create a product or make anything.,,they take advantage ( at ANOTHERS EXPENSE I MIGHT ADD) of fluctuations in the markets often with capital that is leveraged....do you trade on a computer? what the f#ck do you think goes into a computer? Milk, wheat and water? no nature boy, your computer has hundred if not thousands of wicked chemicals in it....I once worked for IBM on a substrate line.....the 'chips of intel' get stuck down using bad ass epoxy on a glass or ceramic substrate that has been 'dipped' into still more chemicals.....the plastic, lead and other things that go into your computer terminal would choke an elephant......now take a good look around your place and think of al the other conveniences you have.......you think they are all made from soy??? get real....WE ARE ALL HYPOCRITES WHEN IT COMES TO THE environment,,,,sure, we want clean air,,,,but we also want to clear out 2 acres of forest to put up our dream home don't we? sure land fills are bad and pollute underground water....but we want to DUMP in a bowl, flush it and forget it...when we are done with our pizza box, we want to throw it in the garbage and forget it.....and when (if) you have two or more kids, you don't want to drive an electric car the size of a shoe box because its too small and not safe ....get off you soap box and get real. .....by the way....I'll bet anything your computer was mostly built in a smog laden sweat shop in china with absolutely no regard for proper disposal of chemicals ....but of course we know that's wrong...but we also save 1/2 the cost having it made in china don't we?

again if you are not walking to work or taking the bus and eating soy milk and grass for lunch and or not living on less than $8000.00 per year ...ye should not be talking environment..

its like my poker buddy talking up a storm about that movie inconvenient truth ( or whatever the name is ) and how this is true and how that is true and then he wakes his fat ass and drives to work in a 9 mile per gallon lincoln suv... :D

i go camping every year and lug everything i brought in back out including my God damn shit and i still cant talk...:p

well, you are stretching quite a bit from insisting that
you won't give up your cars to having a proper sized
car for a family ... not really impressive.

right, trading is not an overly productive business and
i needed time to find my peace with it. nevertheless,
between the reckless, stupid ressource wasting of the
average US citizen and "nature boy", there is quite some
    space in between.

the world cannot afford what you call "freedom", because
you people ain't got the necessary feeling for responsibility.
your quote on computer ingredients sucks big time. it
is quite dumb: i want to waste as much as i can since
your computer runs on chemicals produced in china.
i hope i can leave it like that and you don't force me
to build a real argument on that. too obvious, right?
    apples and peaches, right?

and finally i would say: no, we are not all pigs.

i am definitely in the gore camp, but i find this criticism
on mann's hockey at least disturbing. if they really got
a big in there reported back in 2004, why did gore come
out with its movie using it in the original version? and
why did "nature" refuse to publish the critical paper?

anybody having a link to a solid debate on this?

seems there are arguments on both sides. a real debate.
in any case from surfin around i'd say that it is not only
oil-payed scientists who disagree. which came as surprise
    to me.

  8. So Mr. Man......You take craps right? Two times a day? WHere is that going ?? Your crap go to different place them mine? You are the reason people DON"T want to hear about the environment....Your preaching about this and that but at the end of the day, your a capitalistic pig like the rest of the world...the fact that "your coming to grips" with it is kind of like a Robber feeling guilty about stealing...he's not giving back the loot, but he does feel bad about it...big deal. the chemicals being produced and used to make EVERY thing in your house and car would blow your mind.....you think because you drive a hybrid alls well in the world and you have a platform to preach? BTW....ya know where Al gore got all his money from right?????

    TOBACCO!

    get real.

    man

seems like you got caught up in the thought: everybody
is a an asshole, but i am not, since i admit it. and you
seem to be at terms with this. well, another form of
hypocrisy, just mixed with some cynicism.

i thought the gores stopped growing tobacco. don't know
if someone is to blame for the business of his father ...

your approach is just fatalistic. one cannot change things
anyways, so why bother thinking or changing anything.
as if there were two options: stone age or planet destruction.
    sorry, dude, you get real.

  10. Its called legitimacy.....how can you take one seriously because they feel bad about something...its about ACTION..a man feeling guilty about cheating on his wife is no different then a man who cheats without remorse....the point is what are you going to do to correct the problem? You are a capitalist pig like the rest of us...you consume and destroy the environment just like the rest of us....but you think your better because you feel guilt over it...at the end of the day....your just as guilty as every one
