Global Warming???

  1. Globally, last year was significantly colder than any since 2001, but was warmer than the 50 year average still. You will always have wide variations in single locales.

That said, the variance we have been experiencing since man has been around releasing gases is NOTHING like the changes that occurred before we showed up. For that reason, and several others which put a major dent in the "Green House Gases" theory, I don't think humans could effect the weather outside of cities even if they tried. (cities are easy to heat up with all the concrete).

I am still in favor of pollution controls on a global scale, however. We should cut back just for the sake of pollution in general, and I could be dreadfully wrong in my beliefs!

Let's start with simple solutions. Here in Phoenix, AZ, we have a sales tax to pay for new road construction. Hello? It would make more sense to have a gas tax pay for new roads.
