I'm more concerned about the possibility of another mini-ice age happening. Man's entire species has lived in one of the infrequent warm periods on earth.

  2. 2009, ends warmest decade on record.

This is from NASA, maybe you've heard of them. Beats Ed down at the bar or that tobacco lobbyist scientist advocating for "...fuh get about it" It becomes obvious that the religiosity is all yours.

You cited a technical paper! Maybe you aren't the simple minded cut & paste monkey that you appear to be!

Do give us your technical appraisal of the results, data and analysis techniques used. I presume you agree with their results which implies you read the bloody paper. How did they reach their conclusion? Did they normalize disparate data sets appropriately?

Aren't we talking about a government agency whos primary mission is to improve relations with the Muslim world? I guess I'm saying I would defer to NOAA on meteorological matters and not NASA.

  6. Okay, you got me. There is a certain amount of faith in any opinion that belongs to anyone not involved in boots on the ground operations relative to gathering data on global warming. That leaves few people whose opinion is worth listening to on the matter and the ones with the biggest mouths detracting from global warming are the least expert. But its a religion on both sides of the issue esp. yours. I checked the NOAA website and their take on greenhouse gases contributing to global warming is "significant implications for global warming." The believers credentials outweigh the detractors and Al Gore is just the whipping boy detractors use to stir up their choir. If you bring up Al Gore, I'm outta here. He's got little to do with the
gravitas behind the science at this point save pr. My belief is err on the side of caution. Noone at NASA or NOAA is getting rich.
If you were told an asteroid was about to collide with Earth
and there was still time to take action who would you believe?

Global Warming!! I forgot to set my hair on fire and run in circles yelling "GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL!!" to everybody. Does that mean I was bad? Let's see, I'm supposed to feel guilty about so many things: eating meat, slavery, global warming, being in a wealthy nation, uhh... not "helping everybody" [with everybody else's money of course]... I don't know, maybe I'll scratch "guilty of global warming" off the list, it's not like anybody could prove it... now the slavery thingy, wow... WHO GIVES A SHIT? Ok, not feeling guilty about that one... meat eating, wow, we killed chickens and ate them.. and if we didn't raise them in the first place they never would have existed... ok on that one too, besides the chef does a great job with chicken... wow I don't have much to feel guilty about!! There was the lib-bully-bitch I sued last year but I won the case and blew through the money already, pretty hard to feel bad about screwing up somebody's life if the judge came down on my side, that should teach her not to let me get a stack of papers that all conflicted and all had her signature on them.. it's just business all you libtards, she was for taxing me to death and I didn't want to die, at all, so I gouged her, it was fun really...

Well, I'm feeling pretty good now, no guilt that much at all, we have to have these little chats more often I guess, I always feel so much better after...

  8. For all the Global whining enthusiasts.

Global warming nuts defy the conclusion of their own logic.

IF global warming were true, then the easiest solution is more particulate air pollution to block the sun much like volcanoes are known to do.

Too funny these GW whiners are unwittingl_y calling for increased air pollution, that is "IF" they were intellectu_ally honest about the debate.

Of course leftist global whiners are not intellectually honest their real objective is to cripple the worlds best economic system for wealth development (capitalism ) so that the poverty of socialism can flourish unhindered from competition.

  9. Good, it's pretty much required for plant growth.

The fear of (anthropocentric) global warming is such a farce it boggles the rational mind.

I'm glad you inserted "anthropogenic", because we have plenty of folks around here who believe there isn't any warmng.
