“The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.” -Winston Churchill
“The truth is incontrovertible. CO2 is a greenhouse gas and levels have gone up 40%, leading to warming” -Winston Churchill and "I'm like, really smart." Donny Trump.
Actually, as I understand it, you can compress water. It requires a great deal of pressure and you don't exactly get a lot of compression, but it is possible.
I stand corrected.... "You can compress water, or almost any material. However, it requires a great deal of pressure to accomplish a little compression. For that reason, liquids and solids are sometimes referred to as being incompressible...." From http://www.physlink.com/Education/askExperts/ae15.cfm IOW... in a "functional" sense, water is not compressible. In a "precisely accurate" sense, ALL matter is compressible... even if only in a miniscule amount and under immense pressure. However... is the weight of dissolved CO2 in the ocean waters enough to make the sea level drop??
