That's good because they don't care about anybody but themselves. Progressives are the people who parade around under the banner of environmentalism, but it's just to further themselves. When climate change is discussed, they are necessarily part of the discussion whether mentioned overtly or otherwise.
I sort of fall into this view. I know there has to be some effect from all the internal combustion and fluorocarbons and VOCs but the degree is very difficult to say and is the chief question. But I think that effect is in the context of very large climatic excursions that occur due to vulcanism, variations in solar flux, asteroid strikes and variations in the nutation of our spin axis. When someone says AGW it strikes me as attributing current climatic conditions to the unquantified human contribution and nothing else.
Now that's sarcasm! --Thought I would point that out to the Libprogs because they have lost their minds. (And sense of humor)
Yeah, caring about the climate is caring about yourself, that's obviously true. I want clean air and food that don't give me cancer and I don't want to experience natural disasters every month, that'll get expensive. It's absolutely selfish. But selfish is better than ignorant and stupid.
Anything is possible with climate science. There's always a climate scientist willing to accept money to prove whatever you want
So you should be able to find one that denies man made global warming, considering how much money the fossil fuel industry has. Anyone? No. But some guys on a trading forum do. lol
Natural forces play dominate role in sea ice extent However, it is clear to most scientists, he continues, that non-atmospheric natural forces play the dominate role in sea ice extent and thickness. These natural forces include variations in the Earth’s orbit, long-term cyclic changes in deep-ocean currents, and most importantly geologically induced heat and chemically charged fluid flow from deep ocean faults and volcanoes. Even though the October 12 event was associated with an extensive earthquake swarm, a huge methane release, and a significant series of volcanic eruptions along the Gakkel Ridge, “it was, and still is dismissed as insignificant by most climate scientists advocating the theory of man-made global warming,” says Kamis But many scientists now realize that the 1999-2007 Gakkel Ridge heat and chemically charged fluid flow event was the root cause of accelerated the Arctic sea ice melting rate. http://www.climatechangedispatch.co...n-fault-punches-hole-in-arctic-ice-sheet.html
