If you read some of my older posts - not that you had to, you would know I agree with your main point.

I was an environmentalist. I do not like pollution.

I think its a shame that the conservative (conservation) movement got corrupted by leftist lying hacks promoting scientism over science.

Hey, look, it's another AGW idiot.

Solution: Stop breathing immediately!! You are depositing more CO2 "polution" into the atmosphere! :D

Hey great! We have another piss covered idiot that thinks he smells of roses.

You still fail to grasp the difference between natural cycles of plants using CO2 and animals eating the plants then releasing CO2 and then returning it to the environment vs human industry adding CO2 continually in an increasing rate. If it were the natural cycle shown in ice core samples the CO2 wouldn't be moving higher and out of range of past cycles.

Do you actually believe your petty explanation of breathing causing CO2 build up in the atmosphere or are you that dense and or ignorant that you can't see the difference?

  4. "The initial changes in temperature during this period are explained by changes in the Earth’s orbit around the sun, which affects the amount of seasonal sunlight reaching the Earth’s surface. In the case of warming, the lag between temperature and CO2 is explained as follows: as ocean temperatures rise, oceans release CO2 into the atmosphere. In turn, this release amplifies the warming trend, leading to yet more CO2 being released. In other words, increasing CO2 levels become both the cause and effect of further warming. This positive feedback is necessary to trigger the shifts between glacials and interglacials as the effect of orbital changes is too weak to cause such variation. Additional positive feedbacks which play an important role in this process include other greenhouse gases, and changes in ice sheet cover and vegetation patterns."

So after CO2 levels increase they lead temperatures higher. The increased temperatures are due to higher CO2 and other greenhouse gases. The higher temperatures are not due to solar but due to greenhouse gases, one of which is CO2. Do you not think CO2 is a greenhouse gas?

So yes, first temps increase due to solar, then rising CO2 levels lead the temperatures higher. Is that better?

Today, the rising CO2 levels are leading the temperatures higher. CO2 is a greenhouse gas. Do you understand that CO2 is greenhouse gas? Do you know what that means?

It's rare to know a future news story. But we do in the case of global warming.

The scientist-activists studying global warming had their emails hacked.

Every time the scientist-activists hold a pow-wow on global warming, more of their emails get leaked!

You author's speculation might be correct. Its does seem logical. But, it is speculation. Nothing there shows that it is the CO2 causing the warming. The gas could just be accumulating as something else caused the warming. You see once again the warming comes first.

And your speculation... lacks credibility for another reason.
CO2 dissipation also lags temperature change on the way back down. The gas is still there... where did all the feedback go?

  7. Please please please answer this simple question. Is CO2 a greenhouse gas?

  8. So jem, what do you think? Is CO2 a greenhouse gas?

Water vapor holds in heat much more than CO2, but its not treated as GH gas.

  10. So jem, is CO2 a greenhouse gas?

Do any of the deniers here want to answer that for jem since jem seems too cowardly to do so?
