I've never said I'm okay with it, just that there's no reason whatsoever to think that HIV prevention programs would be unconstitutional.
The internet was created because of military spending during the cold war, not because of penis washing programs. Are you advocating more military spending?! Even though the internet came of it, I can't say I favor more military spending.
There's no reason whatsoever to think that penis washing workshops in africa have something to do with aids prevention whatsoever, especially aids prevention in america.
The High Performance Computing and Communication Act of 1991 ring a bell? It created NREN. DARPA created the ARPANET. NIST helped as well. All government, all the time. You're soaking in it.
I am just pointing out how wasteful it turned out to be, only if government could fund studies where they knew results beforehand - there would not be so much waste.
I think it's a reasonable area of study given that HIV, semen and santorum fluid remains in genital folds. (I can't believe I got to use "santorum" in a sentence accurately! This is both great and hilarious!)
Amusing for you but not for everyone - like Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/...012-anal-sex-problem-dan-savage_n_708039.html
Not everybody gets his name contributed to the English language! He's truly made his mark! (And with some scrubbing it can be removed.)
So a flat tax of ANY rate will increase the deficit? Even if it's revenue neutral? I think we've found someone who: 1)doesn't like any idea, however good, if it's proposed by a conservative 2)enjoys or makes his living from burdensome and ridiculously complicated tax codes 3)doesn't own a calculator 4)trusts the US treasury 5)doesn't understand elementary school level math The debate is moot anyway, the only way the feds will change our absurd tax codes is as a result of an all out tax payer revolt/revolution.
I think your are right. I think its time to go back to the way it was sent up by the founders. Tariffs instead of income tax. We do not have free trade, so I suggest we start supporting the redevelopment of our industrial base.
