Can't help myself, buying more NLY on the 2.6% drop following earnings. It certainly makes sense for a stock to sell off because the management is doing its job so well.

Selling euros ... this is one of those "sell the news" moments, I believe. Martin must be getting to me, I'm not selling AUD because I don't want to pay the carry on the trade!

Greece is as good as out of the eurozone at this point. The only question now is timing and how to play it.
No need to assume anything, my posts on AAPL - and on position sizing - are on the record here on ET. Let's check some facts: I did not at any point say to put 150% of your assets into Apple at any point. Deliberate lie from you there. You were wrongly bearish on Apple in the last year or so. Nothing wrong with that, traders by definition get calls wrong very often. But once proven wrong, instead of admitting it (or just staying quiet), you tried to pretend that it was not a mistake. It's obvious you did this to try and make yourself look better i.e. boosting your own ego. So, you care more about your own ego, and trying to look good, than about improving as a trader. Then, when called out on your deliberate deception attempt, instead of manning up and admitting it graciously, or just staying quiet, you invent lies about other people. I.e. shoot the messenger. This is typical behaviour of someone who is uncomfortable being exposed in a lie, trying to distract attention from their fraud by slinging mud the other way. I am not quite sure what your motivation is. Are you trying to look better? I can assure you that it just makes you look bad. You are behaving just like a politician who got caught in some cover-up then tried to lie and obfuscate their way out of it. Really, do you think we are so stupid as to be taken in by this amateurism? This is someone else's trading journal - the purpose of it is for them to be able to document their attempts to trade, and get constructive feedback and opinions from others. It is not a place for you to try and puff up your own image by telling lies about your performance and about other people, to attempt to hog the limelight by self-promotion, or other dickhead moves. So, why don't you just cut the crap and stick to legitimate posts about the markets? Your constant bragging, lying, and meaningless off-topic gossip is nothing but a distraction and a disservice to the other people reading this thread. The irony is that if you had just stuck to honest posts about the market, and cut out all the self-aggrandising nonsense, people would have a much higher opinion of you than they do now.
I'm touched by how closely you've been following (and also, apparently by Paul Tudor Jones, aka dhpar). Whatever is on in my life right now - new computer, yoga classes, a perfect mix of follows on my twitter stream, the banter on this site (including perfectly inane discussions with you about Apple and whether to enter positions all at once or not), my new desk chair, even collective hatred - whatever it is, it's working. I don't know how to describe it, but I'm in complete fucking rhythm with markets right now, and have been for months. For all I know, it's my posting (and yes, talking about the results of) my trades on this thread. A lot of it is luck - how else to explain being short EUR and AUD and closing out the position before heading to the beach for a few weeks and watching both rally 500 pips. It'll end - today, tomorrow, next month - and end no doubt in a spectacular 4-week 15% blowup of my trading account. Until then it's working. I'm loath to even change my underwear right now and certainly won't be changing my posting style. I have been and will continue to post trading ideas, interesting articles, and my own trades on this thread. If they're winners, sorry but it's going to get a mention (losers too, see AUD last Oct). I'll have to save being one of the guys for the golf course.
