Glenn Beck on 9/11 Victims

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Landis82, Sep 14, 2009.

  1. Have to agree with Landis and BLo on this one.

Glenn Beck for hating on anyone involved in the 9/11 horror is beyond despicable. Yes, of course he was trying to generate ratings and yes of course he was trying to be provocative. But good grief try to have a little dignity in your life while you do it.

I wouldn't cross the street to piss on the guy if he were on fire.

  2. pompous (pom'pus), adj. stately; grand; self-important; ostentatious.

galoot (ga-loot'), n. a term in American slang having various shades of meaning, and, like such words as "chap", "fellow", "cur", "cuss", "bloke", "buffer", etc., not necessarily denoting dislike but rather a lack of formal respect.

  3. I tell you what, Barth - had ANY liberal or NON-CONSERVATIVE said what Beck said, and you'd be the first one jumping down their throat.

Deny that so that we can all can marvel at the intentional deception or delusional denial.

I'm probably one of the most independent people you'll ever meet. I tow no party line, and have gotten with the most heated arguments with some here who I in turn agree with on other issues. I don't call balls or strikes based on some party or ideological affiliation. I judge every issue on its merits, regardless of which way any political dynamics are flowing.

And I say unto you now that any person taking Glenn Beck seriously, as anything other than a "No! No! No!," frustrated and/or headline-seeking whore (let alone the fact he works for Faux News), is very impressionable (every bit as much as anyone believing Obama was serious about cleaning up the Wall Street scumbags).

  5. I have no problem whatsoever with calling Mr. Beck or Mr. Obama or Mr. Olberman, or any other public figure an imbecile or whatever comes to mind........that comes with the territory THEY have chosen. My problem is with calling the people who offer opinions on this site caustic names and slurs, both from the right and the left.....if we cant debate with some modicum of civility, then this is all static noise. If I offended you, I apologize.

  6. The question is whether the person being discussed posts facts along with his opinions.
Real facts, that is, not online forgeries of documents, April Fool's jokes that a 2nd grader could see through, Larouche BS, (it had been, I am not making this up, a good 22 years since I had seen anything from Larouche. Suddenly, here, I see him being quoted favorably. To say I was shocked would be a severe understatement.) and rehashed stuff from the usual radio talking heads.
Glenn Beck is not a good source for anything.
Neither is Larouche, or any site at all that uses the phrase "Trilateral Commission", "the Rothschilds", "Bildeburgers", (not sure if I got the spelling right on that. Not a specialist in this particular bit of flimflammery) or, saints preserve & protect us, "The Creature from Jekyll Island".
Sites peddling this stuff are trash. Radio hosts or anyone else believing this stuff are deluded, and a waste of precious time.
Glenn Beck is a waste of time, space, and electrons. There may be googles and googles of electrons in the universe, but wasting even a trillion of 'em on Beck is a trillion too much.
