China and Singapore don't have hundreds of millions of firearms in circulation, so you can't say that gun control in either country would be the same as the United States. Same with drugs.

You haven't shown it is silly at all. Your real world examples are worthless for comparison purposes. I suspect you know this, which is why the only thing you've done is "drive by" snarky posting. Drug trafficking and use is punishable by death in the countries you mentioned. So I'll ask you again - are you advocating the death penalty for drug trafficking and use here in the United States? You seem to want to ignore that question (shocking). Because if you don't threaten to kill people for the crime, you can't say "it works there, why cant we do it here?"

Same with guns. Neither China nor Singapore have hundreds of millions of firearms on the street. Neither one has a protection in their Constitution for the Right to Bear Arms. So unless you're talking about imposing the death penalty for possession of firearms, this comparison is also bullshit.
