Proving what we already know that Trump isn't all that strong on 2nd amendment rights. Other than that, it does illustrate how these red flag laws can and will be abused. We should tread very slowly into these pre crime laws, very slowly.
I'm not so sure about that. Trump likes to play fast and loose with his tweets. If he gets too much blowback, he says it was only a joke. He gets support and suddenly he's pushing it as new policy.
Agreed, but the guys a troll master. I took it as Trump throwing some of the Left/Cuomo the mouthpiece’s own ideas back in his face. Cuomo obviously has some repressed issues if the video’s legit. Don’t fall with the Lib’s by taking every word literally.
%% Good link . Most all of the states that have ERPO/red flag laws are Dem infested. Of course Democrat Pres John Kennedy was a tax cutter /NRA life member; so Not every Dem is Dumb. FLA + the Silver State are 2 exceptions; they have plenty of Republicans/RINOs. The good news is even Dem James Carville said ''gun control is a loser for Democrats'' King David could kill anything with a slingshot + smooth stones., I read a technical article in a NRA magazine. Federal Cartridge Corp noted their top of the the line super accurate ammo, is super smooth...................................................................................
This is exactly why we say you cannot give an inch with dems on gun control, no matter how appealing it sounds. Your concession only raises the floor for the next demand. Democrats Push More Gun Control After McConnell Caves on Background Checks 2,787 AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite AWR Hawkins14 Aug 20191,715 1:56 Democrat lawmaker are already looking beyond universal background checks in hopes of pressuring Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) into banning “assault weapons” too. McConnell already made clear universal background checks “will probably lead the discussion” when the Senate reconvenes in September, so Democrats are pressing on to their next goal–securing an “assault weapons” ban. The Hill quoted Anthony Brown (D-MD) saying, “Meaningful action doesn’t end with signing a bipartisan background checks bill, which is important. We have to ban high-capacity magazines that allowed the Dayton shooter and so many others to fire off tens of rounds in merely seconds. We have to ban assault weapons to get these weapons of war off our streets.” The gun control group Newtown Action tweeted: Almost 200 House Democrats have already signed on to “assault weapons” ban legislation that would not only prohibit millions of the most commonly-owned semiautomatic rifles in America but would also ban magazines holding 11 or more rounds of ammunition. The “assault weapons” ban legislation is sponsored by Rep. David N. Cicilline (D-RI). Common Dreams quoted Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) telling reporters that McConnell needs “to look a special interest group in the eye and say enough is enough, it’s time to act." https://www.breitbart.com/politics/...l-after-mcconnell-caves-on-background-checks/
Drug dealers (ciminals) possess guns illegally in the service of a drug deal and shoot at cops that try to stop them. What additional laws will stop this from happening? Tony Stark and the left will tell us the guns come from legal gun owners. What about the drugs? Where do the drugs come from?
