Give up my guns?

The whole thing is murky, should we have a right to own a F22, certainly not. There has to be a limit to what we can own. I fully support the right to have guns, and the uproar over the AR15 is crazy, there are tons of guns that can do the same or worse damage. Do we need 30 or more round mags, probably not. The thing that bothers me is opposition to background checks, I mean why. If you need a gun same day with no questions, you either did piss poor planning for your hunting trip or there is something fishy.

No argument from any of this. Sound reasoning.

Just keep in mind that banning a 30 round magazine and only allowing a 10 round one just makes people tape the magazines together and flip them around when one is empty. Or they can be 3D printed now. And there are millions and millions already in circulation.

Instead of banning the inanimate object, focus on the people causing death with firearms, and why.

  4. Yes, that's why all external magazine firearms should be banned. Too lethal.

  5. A 40 rounder. Even better than a 30. Provided it doesn't jam on you.

And banning them would have no effect whatsoever.

Which is why walls don't work

Depends on what you're looking for walls to do. If you want a wall to prevent people from coming in, they do work. If you're looking for the wall to take care of the people already here, then yeah, I agree that walls won't address that particular problem.

Oh, so preventing people from having access to something works then? Glad we're in agreement.
