Robbers are people too, you know. Can you imagine how stressful it is must be for a robber knowing that his intended victim may be carrying? Worse yet, the person who may shoot him may actually get away with it? Thank God there are understanding politicians in the Democratic Party that understands the plight of robbers and, for that matter, drug dealers. Criminality is currently a high risk profession that needs Government intervention to make it safer. The statistics show horrifying injury or death rates of criminals who attack armed citizens and police officers. Something must be done about this tragedy immediately. Fortunately, progress has been made in Progressive communities where those charged with many types of crimes that don’t involve weapon use no longer have to be held up in jail while awaiting trial. In ideal situations, one can continue where they left off in a few hours of arrest. In the future, maybe even the discrimination between weapon vs no weapon use will be overcome. Even more encouraging is the faster voting right reinstatement supported by Democrats for fellow ex-felons. Our votes can make a difference. With rights likes these, why would anyone ever want to go straight? Greatfully for us criminals, the fruit does not fall far from the tree. Now Democratic and other Progressive politicians, go confiscate those guns and make America safe for criminals for a change.
Why do you almost always root for the violent felon? "The incident was captured by surveillance video. The victim, a 25-year-old woman, was waiting for her bus when a 19-year-old man attempts to rob her at gunpoint." https://abc7chicago.com/video-woman...y-shoots-would-be-robber-in-fernwood/5034294/
I am not one to ever own or fire a gun but I hardly feel remorse when a licensed legal gun owner is violently attacked and drops the fucktard. Do I think it is good someone died? Of course not but when a decision is put into place of an innocent woman with family and loved ones being attacked by a criminal who chooses to commit violence and possibly kill someone for the $50 in their wallet, then that criminal makes it easier to accept their death in a life threatning situation. Imagine the pain and suffering of that poor woman's family losing her because she was gunned down for the loose change in her purse and the guy gets away with it because it was random. We can discuss the gun issue in America but let's not pretend that a violent criminal who maybe has killed in the past or assaulted many others gets gunned down while committing a felony assault. if this is hard to understand, transport the violent attacker from the bus stop to inside your house where your kids are sleeping. I may not own a gun but that fucker will repeatedly slip and fall on my samurai sword at least 10 times.
This is why gun nuts want to carry, so they go around and kill scary people that might hurt them. It's that overactive amygdala again.
I still think there is a major problem with how guns are manufactured and sold in society. I don't advocate an outright ban because I respect the 2d amendment but if you asked my personal opinion, ownership should be limited to a few classes of handguns and hunting rifles. I am not sure assault rifles are anything else but toys people like to fire in ranges, I doubt they would whip out and load an AR15 if someone was attacking them in a bus station or is needed to kill a deer. If I could change anything I would make assault rifles and large magazine guns be treated as liquor in lockers at restaurants. You can buy and own one but it must be stored at a gun shop/range under lock and you can go and shoot it there anytime. I live in a concealed carry state and all of those people I know who are licensed are people I would never worry about owning a handgun. Because all they own is a handgun for personal safety. They are not loading up on 10 rifles with high powered magazines. However, the number of times a mass shooting was committed by someone who was loading up on guns and ammo with no red lights going off or had unblocked access to someone else's gun is ridiculous. You want your handgun and hunting rifle...fine. But when you want assault rifles with large loaded magazines and the ability to buy 500 rounds or own 10 high powered weapons at once, then society should have a say. This is the easy middle ground but the NRA and left will never meet there.
People stock up on AR's and ammo because they fear what will happen when leftist politicians gain power. They know the gun confiscation agenda will again be pushed, and they fear the societal chaos that will result with open borders and green lights for thugs like antifa and BLM to run riot. The purpose of the Second Amendment is not to insure that people can go to the shooting range or go hunting. It is clearly there to insure that the citizenry are not stripped of their means to resist tyranny, whether it is imposed internally or by an external force.
