As if me being from Brazil or not invalidates anything I said. Like you implied, it makes no difference at all... That's the same thing as saying that any opinion I(or any other non-american) have about an american president or policy is invalid simply because I'm not american or I don't live in the USA. That is just stupid... If that is the case, then almost all communists from other countries that keep whining about american gun laws here in this forum should just shut the hell up and the americans would simply have to say that they're not americans, so that makes it right and there's not need for logic behind what they do or don't. Fortunately almost all american gun owners I've seen engage in discussions in forums like these are polite people who simply argue with reasonable and concrete arguments why they think they're right. Contrary to the other side that usually ends up calling names, and other "less evolved" behaviors. That's probably due to the fact that the former has reality and logic to back their arguments and the latter just an irrational emotion that works only in dream worlds.
I think that everyone should open a thread here on ET every time a car crash with fatal victims happens, especially if the driver was drunk or under the effect of some drug(it would be curious to know how many threads PER SECOND would be openned, the moderators would LOVE IT), or even when the guy that caused the accident was lunatic... The post should trash Ford, Subaru, Jeep, Audi, BMW, TOYOTA, and lobby instutions for car makers.. Or all of them together... It doesn't matter, AS LONG AS THE FOCUS IS ON THE CAR AND NOT IN THE DRIVER THAT CAUSED THE ACCIDENT. There should be very "clever" phrases like "Brought to you by Ford Motors" on top of a picture with a terrible car crash in it. Then let's call for the ban of cars or have several restrictions... We should have cars that can't go over 15 MPH. I'm surprised that the terrorist attacks in Europe where cars were used to run over and kill several people weren't blamed on the car manufacturers(AND ALL CAR OWNERS OF THIS WORLD, THEY ALL HAVE THEIR SHARE OF FAULT IN THIS, OBVIOUSLY. THEY ARE ALL SIMPLY "CAR NUTS" THAT WANT TO DRIVE THEIR CARS AT 65 MPH ON FREEWAYS AT THE EXPENSE OF THE POOR VICTIMS AND SEVERAL OF THEM ARE CHILDREN!!!). I mean, if there were laws forbidding cars or having several background checks and restrictions on the purchase of cars, the terrorists could never have done what they did and those tragedies would certainly have been avoided... It is the same logic, after all...
Not everyone is as active as you on the site. Do you know if the Portuguese is proper grammar? I don't. A native speaker could tell you if that is a machine translation or not. I mean, since you're so interested.
