Giuliani: 'Very disturbing things' on Hunter Biden hardrive

Discussion in 'Politics' started by southall, Oct 18, 2020.

  1. Yeh, I dunno. The election is going to happen with Joe on the ballot so I am not going to be thinking much about him standing down before then regardless of what is exposed.

However, there is a case that could be made that lots of people would be even more likely to vote a dem ticket if they knew that Joe was not on the ballot. Again, you are trying to think this through from the vantage point of someone who has scruples - but that is not the dem way. If Joe were to resign tomorrow because he has been expose as a criminal, the dems would be dancing in the streets. It would save them the hassle of the 25th amendment scam coming up and all of that and the progressives would get kamala.

It's too late. Joe is on the ballot, lots of people will have voted with each day that goes by and if the dems win the election they know they can ignore or fix any past problems with Joe.

So they should concentrate on trying to win with Joe and deal with it later.

If Giuliani has any proof of his Hunter email assertions then he needs to release the original, unaltered Metadata from the computer. If he does not do this then we an only assume all the entire laptop claims are complete farce.

Hunter Biden Emails Could Be ‘Absolutely Verified’ If Rudy Giuliani Released The Metadata, Expert Says
    https://dailycaller.com/2020/10/17/hunter-biden-emails-metadata-rudy-giuliani/

Emails from a computer allegedly owned by Hunter Biden could be “absolutely verified beyond a shadow of a doubt” if the metadata for the files were made available to review, a cybersecurity expert told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani reportedly provided the New York Post with a copy of the hard drive the emails originated from. But he has refused to release metadata information for messages the Post described as “smoking-gun” evidence that Hunter Biden introduced a Burisma executive to his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, in 2015.

Giuliani told Daily Caller White House correspondent Christian Datoc during an exclusive interview Thursday that questions surrounding the metadata for the files he provided to the Post were “pettifogging nonsense” pushed by the “liberal press.”

The founder of the cybersecurity firm Errata Security, Robert Graham, told the DNCF that it was anything but nonsense for reporters to ask to review metadata information for the supposedly incriminating emails he’s promoting.

“The fact that these emails can be absolutely verified, beyond a shadow of a doubt, but that Rudy refuses to do so, is important,” Graham said. “Once you produce the original emails, with all the metadata, nobody can claim they are fake.”

Graham explained that emails sent from Gmail accounts, such as the messages reportedly sent from Vadym Pozharsky, an advisor to Burisma’s board of directors, to Hunter Biden in 2015, are each provided a unique DKIM signature from Gmail’s servers that can be used to verify definitively whether the subject, sender, recipients, date and body of the messages are legitimate.

By testing the content of the Hunter Biden emails against their DKIM signatures, which should be present in the metadata Giuliani has yet to release, experts could determine beyond a shadow of a doubt whether any aspect of the message as reported has been altered, Graham explained.

According to the Post, Giuliani obtained the hard drive with Hunter Biden’s emails, text messages and photos from a Delaware computer repair shop owner who had received it in April 2019 from an unidentified customer who then never came back to retrieve the computer. The computer contained a sticker from the Beau Biden Foundation on it, according to the Post.

Hunter Biden has not denied the authenticity of the emails being reported by the Post, but the DCNF has not verified the messages. Joe Biden’s presidential campaign has said the alleged meeting between him, his son and Pozharsky never took place.

Giuliani’s known association with a Ukrainian lawmaker who was sanctioned by the Treasury Department in August due to Russian ties has led critics to question whether foreign actors had any involvement in the dissemination of the alleged Hunter Biden emails.

The FBI is currently investigating whether a foreign intelligence operation is at all connected to the release of the emails, according to The Associated Press and NBC News.

Graham said email metadata would “probably not” provide any indication whether or not hacking has anything to do with their release.

  3. Yup. And Joe be having people in high places who can slow the flow of information down enough to help him make it to the election before it blew up. Looks like they missed that goal by a couple weeks, although they done good with what they had to work with.

Wondering why bad news about Joe and Hunter in the Ukraine travels slowly on Facebook if at all?

    Ponder dis.

Unbelievable – Facebook’s Lead Executive on Election Policy Was Vice-President Joe Biden’s Advisor to Ukraine…

The Biden campaign has not to date disputed the authenticity of the emails.

Until they do we then we can assume they are legit, given that the New York Post must of done some checks on them.

But if the Biden campaign says they are fake, then Giuliani needs to provide meta data.

That's not what the Biden campaign said. They basically said they would not address any as idiotic as a laptop at a repair shop with no provenance with no proof that Hunter Biden even dropped it off. Especially since all legitimate computer repair shops have cameras in customer areas to prove they are not repairing or buying stolen computers.

I thought the FBI also has this information.

MacIsaac told CBS News he first turned over the hard drive to the FBI last December during the president's impeachment, and provided a copy of its contents to Costello after becoming frustrated by the Senate trial in January.

Ha, thats where they are playing the deniability game, they get to say in future 'We never said the emails werent true'.

If the emails are fake they should just come out and say 'These emails are 100% fake'. Trump would.

The fact that they are skirting the issue most probably means the emails are legit.

Who cares who dropped it off? Either it is Biden's computer or it isn't.

How do cameras prove that computers are stolen or brought in by the rightful owner?

The assumption would there is video of Hunter Biden handing in the laptop. But the store might not keep six month old video footage.
