Trump messed up. The feds probably knew through illegal surveillance that Trump authorized the payments to daniels. Now if Trump had not opened his mouth his communications with Cohen might have been privileged and maybe the Feds could not have connected the retainer money to daniels with evidence that would be allowed into court. Now, with trumps tweet... a lie. They will claim he had no privilege on this matter. They will now say that payment was a campaign payment They will argue trump violated campaign finance law or even bring up that fraud against US statute Muller used against the absent russian trolls. Giulianni is trying to get in front of this and save his butt. By the way... here is evidence of the tap. I will bet it was arguably illegal given that hillary paid for the unproven dossier.
